Scholarships
The Jackson County School System Foundation provides yearly scholarships to seniors graduating from either East Jackson High School or Jackson County High School.

Heather Backer P.E. Scholarship ($1,000)
This scholarship is named to honor longtime JCSS physical education teacher Ms. Heather Backer. This scholarship will be awarded to a student who plans to pursue a career in physical education, to include: sports medicine and physical therapy.

STEM Scholarship ($1,000)
The STEM scholarship will be awarded to a student who plans to study in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) or STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) field.

Performing Arts Scholarship ($1,000)
This scholarship will be awarded to a student who will be pursuing performing arts at the collegiate level.

Educator Leader Scholarship ($1,000)
This scholarship will be awarded to a student who plans to pursue education as a career and shows important leadership characteristics.

Let's Get Technical Scholarship ($1,000)
Awarded to a student who will be attending a technical college or trade school.
